Learn how to upgrade your plan, what happens during the upgrade, and how billing works.
How to Upgrade
Via Dashboard
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Select your desired plan (Pro or Enterprise)
- Complete payment with credit card or invoice
- New limits apply immediately

What Happens When You Upgrade
Immediate Effects
New rate limits apply instantly Additional API keys available immediately Advanced features enabled right away Existing API keys continue to work
Billing
- Prorated charges for mid-cycle upgrades
- No downtime during the upgrade
- Keep all your data and settings
- Invoice sent to your email
When you upgrade, you're only charged the prorated difference for the remaining billing period.
Downgrading
How to Downgrade
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select a lower plan
- Confirm the change
What to Know
- ⚠️ Lower limits apply immediately
- ⚠️ Excess API keys will be disabled
- ⚠️ Advanced features may be removed
- Credit applied to next billing cycle
If you've exceeded the new plan's quota when downgrading, API requests will be rate-limited until the next billing period.

Can I change plans at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
What happens to my API keys?
All your existing API keys remain valid and automatically inherit the new plan's rate limits.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Contact developers@brainus.lk for refunds.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes, you can switch billing periods at any time. The change applies at your next billing date.
What payment methods do you accept?
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Bank transfers (Enterprise only)
- Invoicing (Enterprise only)
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees for any plan. You only pay the monthly or yearly subscription price.
Can I pause my subscription?
Free plans don't require payment. Paid plans can be downgraded to Free at any time, which effectively pauses your subscription.
